I think Havelock and Lilly actually met before she and Puck got married, but that was under his standard patron radar: Nonthreatening, pleasant if confusing.
Then she was suddenly extended family and therefore his responsibility - yay for Ankh-Morpork family values - and actually? Kind of fun. Havelock and fun have a weird relationship, and it's very much mixed up with his work and ambitions, but he's not allergic to it, like he occasionally acts. And he approves of her business acumen, and as far as he knows, her parenting is a sterling example. (He? Was brought up by Madam Bobbi Meserole, and thus probably actually had a fairly similar experience to the twins.) It is a thing. She's one of his people, now, somehow, her and Puck and the twins, and he's entirely happy with that.
